I wasn't terribly excited about processing/remixing a couple of samples this week, at least not in the usual throw it in the computer and tear it apart sort of way, so I set up a little feedback system with a cheap mixer, a couple of contact mics, an old Sivertone, and a hacked mini-amp. The two samples were looped through this setup, one take for each sample. Contact mics were shuffled around, orange peels were thrown in speakers as mutes. Cut-up in the DAW, and a bit of pseudo-tape delay and some scuzz and rumble from the Black Death Noise Synth added. Made under heavy influence of The Goslings and grim Midwest March weather.
